Japan's Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) company, renowned for its exquisite three-dimensional ACG character creations under the "ARTFX J" series, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Blue Exorcist" – the "Rin Okumura" pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 24,750 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2025!
《Blue Exorcist》 is a work by manga artist Kazue Kato, serialized in Monthly "Jump Square" since 2008. It was adapted into a TV anime by A-1 Pictures in 2010, with its fourth season sequel, "Shimane Illuminati Saga," premiering in January 2025. It tells the story of the young Rin Okumura who, after discovering he is the son of Satan, chooses to become an exorcist to fight against his father, embarking on a journey with his twin brother Yukio Okumura.
This ARTFX J Rin Okumura 1/8 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. It depicts Rin in a dynamic, leaping and slashing pose after his demon transformation, supported by a clear stand. The intricate folds of his clothing convey a strong sense of motion, and details such as the buttons and belt buckles on his outfit, as well as the "Kurikara" demon-slaying sword in his hand, are exquisitely reproduced! The horns on his forehead, his swirling tail, and the blue flames coiling around Kurikara are crafted using clear colored materials with partial paint application. Combined with the dynamic slashing motion and the slightly forward-leaning base, these elements significantly enhance the overall visual impact!
