The official Neon Genesis Evangelion store, EVANGELION STORE, is back with another drop for gearheads. Following up on its popular EVA-racing themed Unit-01 Test Type Steering Wheel, Unit-02 Production Model Steering Wheel, and NERV Steering Wheel.
The latest release is the fourth installment in the series: the Rei Ayanami Limited Edition Steering Wheel, decked out in the iconic colors of her plugsuit. Limited to just 100 units, it's priced at 110,000 JPY and is currently available for pre-order on the EVA STORE website.
For those not in the know, Neon Genesis Evangelion has deep ties to the racing world. The franchise boasts its own professional racing team, EVA-racing, which was formed by Khara in 2010 and remains an active competitor in global motorsports to this day.
This high-performance wheel is another collaboration with aerospace parts manufacturer VERTEX. It features a comfortable 33φ diameter and a 90mm deep dish design, which brings the wheel closer to the driver for significantly improved handling and control.
Wrapped in premium genuine leather, the steering wheel showcases Rei's plugsuit color scheme with exquisite embroidery. The central horn button is custom-engraved with the exclusive EVA RACING NERV logo, and each unit features a laser-etched serial number, making it a true collector's item.
