Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "METAL ROBOT Damashii" series, which combines metallic paint finishes and die-cast frames, has announced the commercialization of the "Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Dedicated Wings of Light & Full Burst Effect Set" from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY". The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is the mobile suit piloted by protagonist Kira Yamato in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY". Equipped with the Hyper Deuterion Engine, which generates a massive amount of energy, it is armed with numerous high-power beam weapons such as high-output beam rifles, the "Xiphias 3" Rail Cannons, and the "Calidus" Multi-phase Beam Cannons. Furthermore, it features the "Super DRAGOON" Mobile Weapon Wing on its back, which deploys a total of 8 "Beam Assault Cannons" (4 on each side) for all-range attacks. Coupled with Kira's Super Coordinator abilities, it can simultaneously lock onto a multitude of enemy units.
This product is an accessory set re-released to complement the "METAL ROBOT Damashii Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate]", which features refreshed colors and body markings. Based on the previously revealed "Destiny Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Dedicated Wings of Light & Effect Parts Set", it is highly probable that this set is also a modified version of a previously released standard edition. It will likely feature new color effect parts with a purple tint, recreating the magnificent Wings of Light and the impressive "Full Burst" pose with all beam weapons deployed.
