The 'ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.' series of robot-themed articulated figures, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced the upcoming release of the "High-Zack (Earth Federation Forces Specification)" from "Mobile Suit Z Gundam," slated for October 2025.
In the "Z Gundam" era following the One Year War, the Earth Federation Forces adopted the design of the Zeon mobile suit "Zaku II F2 Type" and combined technologies from both factions to develop the next-generation Zaku, the "RMS-106 High-Zack." This model improved its performance through lightweight armor, increased fuel capacity, new thrusters, and other enhancements. While it could be equipped with beam rifles and beam sabers, the power system suffered from poor design due to the mixed use of Zeon's fluid pulse drive and the Federation's motor drive. Consequently, it could only operate one beam weapon at a time, often utilizing combinations such as "Zaku Machine Gun + Beam Saber" or "Beam Rifle + Heat Hawk."
The "ROBOT魂 High-Zack (Earth Federation Forces Specification) ver. A.N.I.M.E." is a modification of the previously released Titans color standard version, with its entire body featuring a new blue color scheme to faithfully reproduce the specifications used by the Earth Federation's regular army.
This approximately 13 cm tall articulated model is crafted based on anime design drafts, faithfully reproducing sophisticated and cool styling details such as the exposed power pipes and large thruster backpack. It also incorporates the articulation design cultivated over many years in the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series, featuring movable chest armor, pull-out shoulder joints, horizontal axis movable elbow joints, and wrist power pipe linkage mechanisms, allowing for dynamic battle poses from the series.
The weaponry has also been updated to the Earth Federation Forces specification color scheme, including the 120mm Zaku Machine Gun Kai, Beam Rifle, Beam Saber, Missile Pod, and Shield. The Beam Rifle comes with two interchangeable energy magazines, and both the Beam Rifle and Beam Saber include three types of beam effects. Additionally, a pair of thruster effect parts, missile pod launch effects, and Zaku Machine Gun firing effects are included.
