Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division has announced the latest Gundam model kit product from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", the "HG 1/144 Exabe's Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment)", scheduled for release in July 2025.
The MS-15/H Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment) is a mobile suit specialized for close-quarters combat developed by the Principality of Zeon military. Compared to the design in the main "Mobile Suit Gundam" timeline, the GQ version not only features a knight armor-like mobile suit design reinterpreted by Ikuto Yamashita, but its main weapon has also been changed to the "Hakuji Spear," a large composite weapon that also functions as a thruster. This product commercializes the custom unit piloted by Zeon military Second Lieutenant Exabe Oliver, featuring a white painted exterior adorned with magnificent gold lines.
The "HG 1/144 Exabe's Gyan (Hakuji Spear Equipment)" utilizes Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology and a rich array of molded color parts to recreate its grayish-white tones, knight armor-like plating, and the power pipe design on its thighs. It features single-axis elbow articulation, ball-jointed hip joints, and a movable mono-eye sensor, allowing for the recreation of in-show combat scenes.
The weaponry also precisely recreates the massive "Hakuji Spear," which is even larger than the mobile suit itself. The huge round shield can replicate the deployed state of its missile hatches. Additionally, two "beam sabers" with designs similar to the main timeline's settings are included, allowing for cool combat poses when combined with the flexible articulation.
