Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company officially unveiled information on its brand new assembly model product series, 'Reincarnation,' at this month's Japanese model festival, 'Smile Fest 2025,' simultaneously showcasing three new prototypes confirmed for commercialization.
The brand new product series, 'Reincarnation,' transforms Good Smile Company's PVC scale figures into 'assembly models.' Utilizing 3D modeling and metal mold technology for reverse engineering, the series maintains the original sculpt of the PVC figures while redesigning the color separation, part breakdown, and assembly structure for each component, allowing you to personally assemble those highly popular classic figures from yesteryear.
Currently announced models for commercialization include 'Racing Miku 2013 Ver.' released in June 2014, 'Shimakaze' released in December 2014, and 'Saber Lily ~Distant Utopia (Avalon)~' released in September 2009. The original PVC scale figures, Reincarnation prototypes under development, and some completed runner designs were also exhibited at the venue.
