Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS recently held the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Ryuki Release Commemoration Event", where another new product, the prototype of "S.H.Figuarts Dragreder" from "Kamen Rider Ryuki", was displayed. The release date is undetermined.
Kamen Rider Ryuki is the Kamen Rider transformed by the protagonist, intern reporter Shinji Kido, after he accidentally obtained the "Rider Card Deck and Card Set". He thus gained the ability to enter the "Mirror World" and was drawn into a battle among 13 Riders where survival depended on fighting. The initial Blank Form was weaker, but after forming a contract with the Contract Monster "Dragreder", he could unleash the true power of the card deck, summoning weapons such as the Drag Saber, Drag Shield, and Drag Claw. He could even directly summon Dragreder to assist in combat and perform the finishing move "Dragon Rider Kick".
"S.H.Figuarts Dragreder" meticulously recreates the various designs based on the in-series settings, featuring articulated joints in each body segment and limbs. Furthermore, the official display also showcased "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Ryuki" equipped with the Drag Shield on both shoulders. It is highly anticipated that this Dragreder will also be able to disassemble into various armaments such as the Drag Head, Drag Saber, and more, to be equipped in conjunction with the Shinkocchou Seihou Ryuki.
