BANPRESTO Prize Figure 'Art Vignette Odo Island Godzilla (2023) Odo Island Attack Image ver.' Powerfully Recreates its Destructive Presence!

Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's BANPRESTO Prize Figure brand has announced the latest product from the movie "Godzilla Minus One": "Art Vignette Odo Island Godzilla (2023) Odo Island Attack Image ver.", scheduled for release in February 2026!

The Godzilla that appeared in the movie "Godzilla Minus One" was originally a dinosaur-like giant beast inhabiting the deep seas around Odo Island, which local residents called "Odo Island Godzilla" (※a Japanese kanji transliteration of the Japanese "Gojira" with the same pronunciation). It stood approximately 15 meters tall and possessed powerful regenerative abilities. Before the end of WWII, the Japanese military invaded its territory and landed on Odo Island, launching an attack on the Japanese garrison stationed on the island, causing widespread casualties. After the war, due to the US military's nuclear bomb tests at Bikini Atoll, it was affected and mutated into a 50-meter tall Godzilla.

The second installment of the BANPRESTO "Art Vignette Odo Island Godzilla (2023) Odo Island Attack Image ver." measures approximately 13 cm in height and 16 cm in length. It is meticulously sculpted to recreate the terrifying scene at the beginning of the movie when Odo Island Godzilla landed on Odo Island and attacked the Japanese military! Its dinosaur-like appearance, rough skin texture, spiky dorsal fins, and ferocious demeanor are all exquisitely rendered. Applied with rich color painting, the base also features details of destroyed Odo Island buildings and flames, showcasing Odo Island Godzilla's destructive presence illuminated by the firelight!
