BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan, which issues the Gunpla series "HG (High Grade)" with the most abundant variety of mobile suits, today announced the latest product from the official side story manga "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing DUAL STORY G-UNIT": "HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe", scheduled for release in December 2025. This product will be sold exclusively on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The OZ-19MASX Gundam Griepe is a transformable mobile suit secretly manufactured within a derelict satellite by Odin Barnett, the older brother of protagonist Andy Barnett, after he became the silver-masked man belonging to OZ Prize. This unit incorporates the "Plasma Jet Engine" designed by their father and the "Mind-Sync Control System (MSCS)" which links the pilot's reflexes with mobile suit control. It also combines transformation mechanisms for three forms: MS Mode, Assault Mode, and MA Mode, enabling high-mobility combat in various environments.
The "HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe" is thoroughly sculpted in 3D with a completely new design, based on the new artwork drawn by designer Junichi Akutsu. It faithfully recreates the mobile suit's refined, sharp, and cool exterior, reproducing rich detailed sculpting and body colors through the latest color separation and part division technology, while also featuring flexible movable joint designs.
With its newly designed transformation mechanism, the "HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe" can transform to recreate three forms: MS Mode, Assault Mode, and MA Mode. It also comes with newly designed armaments such as the Beam Lancer, Hyper Mega Particle Cannon, and a shield equipped with a Buster Mega Particle Cannon. The Beam Lancer includes a clear yellow beam effect part, and its two-section grip can be stored in the "Reflector Shields" on both shoulders.
・MS Mode
Includes a dedicated right hand for holding the "Beam Lancer" and an open-palm left hand, allowing for a cool standing pose while wielding the lancer.
・Assault Mode
The feet are equipped with transformable and deployable claws.
・MA Mode
By transforming some parts and replacing chest parts, both Assault Mode and MA Mode can be recreated.
Furthermore, many of the mobile suit's peg and joint connection designs are the same as those of previously released G-UNIT series Gundams like the "HG 1/144 Gundam Geminass 01". The accessories also include newly designed "Griepe Arm" parts, allowing for mixing and matching of body, limbs, backpack, and armament parts to recreate combined G-UNIT mobile suits that appeared in the series, such as "Gundam Geminass 01 Galiarest Final Battle Specification" and "G-UNIT Final Combination Ver. DUAL STORY".
