Japan's official Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, has announced that its latest limited-edition product, "Figure-rise Standard Lunamaria Hawke [GUNDAM BASE Color]," from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, is scheduled to be released on October 11, 2025.
Lunamaria Hawke is a "Red Coat" elite pilot of the Z.A.F.T. military, serving as an MS pilot alongside her contemporaries, Shinn Asuka and Rey Za Burrel, aboard the state-of-the-art battleship "Minerva." Lunamaria initially piloted a ZAKU Warrior, and later, after Shinn transferred to the Destiny Gundam, she took over as the pilot of the Impulse Gundam. In many ways, she's truly protagonist-material. Furthermore, cute actions like privately modifying her military uniform into a miniskirt style also earned Lunamaria considerable popularity during the broadcast.
"Figure-rise Standard Lunamaria Hawke [GUNDAM BASE Color]" is based on a modification of the previously released regular version. It redesigns the Z.A.F.T. military pilot suit using the white, aqua blue, and dark blue colors from the GUNDAM BASE logo, and also includes stickers printed with the GUNDAM BASE logo. The model's packaging features an illustration of Lunamaria standing in front of GUNDAM BASE, portraying her as a cute mascot girl.
Other specifications are essentially the same as the regular version, utilizing precise color separation and part division techniques to recreate the various color blocks on her body and her attractive figure. Accessories include one pre-printed face part and two additional face parts that require self-application of waterslide decals for customization. It can also recreate the helmeted look by swapping parts, and the clear visor can be freely attached and detached. By using interchangeable upper body parts, the open-chest state of her pilot suit can be recreated, and the white innerwear part is specially made from soft plastic for a soft touch, revealing her ample curves.
