Among the products released by Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON division in Japan, the "PREMIUM GASHAPON" series, which focuses on larger, more luxurious, and more expensive items, will launch its latest Pokémon-themed release in the fifth week of October 2025: "Pokémon Assemble & Pose! Mega Mewtwo X・Mega Mewtwo Y" (ポケットモンスター 組立可動！メガミュウツーX・メガミュウツーY)! The suggested retail price is 800 JPY per capsule, with a total of two types to collect.
"Pokémon Assemble & Pose!" is a gashapon toy series that features impressive size, detail, and rich playability, all packed into a giant 9 cm gashapon capsule. The first release was the highly talked-about "Koraidon・Miraidon", the second release was the Generation IX Fire Warrior & Fire Blades Pokémon "Armarouge・Ceruledge", and the third release was "Mega Charizard X・Mega Charizard Y".
The Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon "Mewtwo," which has maintained immense popularity since its debut, is now being rendered in 3D in its Mega Evolved forms for the "Pokémon Assemble & Pose!" series! Mega Mewtwo X, possessing both Psychic and Fighting types, reaches a height of 10 cm after assembly, perfectly reproducing its muscular limbs and sharper head sculpt. Mega Mewtwo Y, while relatively smaller in stature, possesses immeasurable power, and its striking head and body sculpt have also been faithfully recreated. Both figures feature articulated arms and legs, and look incredibly cool when displayed with their stands! A must-get.
