Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. Candy Toy Division BANDAI CANDY has announced the latest product from its popular Candy Toy series "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE", the "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Anvel Diona & Icarus Set", based on the manga *Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: The Steel 7*, scheduled for release in February 2026.
*Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: The Steel 7* depicts the final battle between the Crossbone Vanguard and the Jupiter Empire in Universal Century 0136. After the new president of the Jupiter Empire, Callisto of Light, takes office, he plans to use the ultra-long-range colony laser cannon "Divine Judgment" to launch the devastating "Divine Thunder Plan" against Earth. The leader of the anti-Callisto faction, Europa Dogatie, escapes Jupiter and informs the Crossbone Vanguard of the plan. With only two weeks until the launch date, and conventional space travel to Jupiter taking three months, Tobia Arronax and his comrades must gather seven elite warriors to travel to Jupiter aboard "Beam Sail (Minovsky Drive)" equipped units to thwart the ambitions of the Callisto brothers.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Anvel Diona & Icarus Set" product includes the Mobile Suit "Anvel Diona" piloted by Europa Dogatie, and the large booster "Icarus" equipped with a Minovsky Drive. The Anvel Diona is sculpted with entirely new molds, reproducing its elegant, goddess-like appearance, and comes with a handheld Beam Rifle. Its back-mounted weapon rack can open to reveal the internal Muramasa Blaster and small nuclear missile launcher, and includes movable mechanical arm parts.
The Icarus boasts an impressive length of approximately 33 cm, with precise sculpting to reproduce high-density details, and can be mounted on the back of the Anvel Diona. The set includes a dedicated display stand, allowing you to recreate the powerful scene of the Steel 7 assembling and flying to Jupiter for their final battle, in conjunction with the separately sold "Team A Set" and "Team B Set".
