T-ARTS, a popular toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, is set to release an exciting new capsule toy this October from its hugely popular "Katan Zun Fig." (肩ズンFig.) series! Get ready for the "Katan Zun Fig. Fullmetal Alchemist" collection, with each capsule retailing for 400 yen and featuring four unique figures to collect.
The story of "Fullmetal Alchemist" follows brothers Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, who commit the greatest taboo in alchemy, Human Transmutation, in an attempt to revive their deceased mother. The failed transmutation results in a horrific rebound effect, costing Edward his left leg and Alphonse his entire body. To save his only brother, Edward performs another forbidden transmutation, sacrificing his right arm to bind Alphonse's soul to a massive suit of armor. Years later, the brothers embark on a journey to restore their bodies to their original state.
The "Katan Zun Fig. Fullmetal Alchemist" series reimagines popular characters from the series in a cute, chibi style, standing approximately 5 cm tall. The lineup includes the Elric brothers, the legendary "Flame Alchemist" Roy Mustang, and Maes Hughes. Each figure captures the characters in adorable, head-tilted sleeping poses, with excellent replication of their distinct expressions. From Edward's iconic outfit and Alphonse's intricate armor details to Mustang's and Hughes' Amestrian blue military uniforms, every detail is faithfully reproduced. This is definitely a must-collect set!
