Bandai Co., Ltd.'s candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its popular candy toy series 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE' with the announcement of two commemorative sets, "15th Anniversary UNIVERSAL CENTURY SET" and "15th Anniversary ALTERNATIVE SERIES SET," slated for release in April 2026.
Similar to the commemorative sets released for the 10th anniversary, these products feature a selection of past Gundam protagonist mobile suits, categorized into the "UNIVERSAL CENTURY SET" for the Universal Century timeline and the "ALTERNATIVE SERIES SET" for non-Universal Century series. Most of the 8 mobile suits do not overlap with those from the 10th-anniversary release, with the iconic "RX-78-2 Gundam" being the only repeat, but it utilizes a different base body (FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #22).
Each mobile suit comes with a white display stand printed with its name, a special color scheme different from the regular versions, and a rich array of weapon accessories. Their respective unit numbers are also added to the bodies.
The Universal Century's "UNIVERSAL CENTURY SET" includes protagonist mobile suits such as the RX-78-2 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam, the RX-93-ν2 Hi-Nu Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children, the LM314V23/24 V2 Assault Buster Gundam from Mobile Suit V Gundam, and the RX-9/C Narrative Gundam C-Packs from Mobile Suit Gundam NT (Narrative).
