The Gouf Custom first appeared in The 08th MS Team.
Its incredibly strong close-quarters combat capabilities, combined with the intimidating presence of its ace pilot,
struck fear into the hearts of the Federation Forces.
Although the Gouf Custom also appeared in Gundam Requiem,
its glory was gone, even reduced to a backstabbing villain.
A brief introduction to the production process:
Plastic sheets were used for decoration, and a scribing tool was used to add details. The difference from a straight build can be seen in the image below.
The head is a curved surface, requiring curved masking tape to complete the scribing.
The front chest was thickened with plastic sheets.
The shoulders mimic the style of the Gouf Custom from Requiem.
Putty was used to increase thickness; this part was the most challenging to handle.
The waist primarily features scribing, with areas divided and then painted with contrasting colors.
The feet were first seam-lined, then cannibalized parts were added, and finally, scribing and step details were carved.

I prefer the blue of the standard Gouf, so I opted not to use the light blue unique to the Custom version.
Making Zeon mobile suits look good is not easy, and blue paint schemes are particularly challenging to master.

The back is also quite impressive.
The backpack features carved heat dissipation structures and metal nozzles.
The elbows are adorned with plastic sheets, with orange plastic dots serving as visual focal points.
【Detail Showcase】
The shoulder spikes were difficult to mask, and at one point, I considered not separating their colors.
Decorated with commercially available metal rivets.
The yellow and orange warning strips are very eye-catching.
A scribing tool was used to create structures resembling heat sinks.
The large leg area allowed for simple color separation.
Step details were carved into the instep to enhance the three-dimensional feel.
【Gatling Shield】
Heavy armament and high firepower are a man's romance.
Although physical rounds are far less effective than beam weapons,
this weapon is truly cool.
【Action Poses】
The advantage of the HG over the MG version is that the shoulder joints have detents.
This prevents the arm from becoming weak when raising the gun.
As it's an older kit, the articulation is quite tragic.
A display stand is necessary to achieve better poses.
