The popular Tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER," released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from the movie "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," "Burning Godzilla (2019)," scheduled for release on November 15, 2025.
In "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," the injured Mothra sacrificed herself to block Ghidorah's gravity beams, her fading body transforming into countless light particles that infused Godzilla, allowing Godzilla to temporarily unleash his "Burning" form. The Legendary Burning Godzilla's entire skin appeared to burn like lava, with heat surrounding his body capable of completely melting cities. There was even a depiction where Ghidorah's gravity beams were seemingly absorbed by Godzilla. His classic move, "Nuclear Pulse," was released in a pulsed form, accompanied by Mothra's voice and image, with such immense power that Ghidorah couldn't regenerate in time, his heads directly incinerated into ash.
"MOVIE MONSTER Burning Godzilla (2019)" uses fundamentally the same mold as the version exclusively sold at the GODZILLA STORE in 2019. It also similarly utilizes a transparent molded body with color painting to represent the fiery physique, though there might be slight differences in the outer black paintwork.
