Derived from the "Nendoroid" series of chibi-style pre-painted figures by Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the "Nendoroid Large" series, which presents figures in a massive 20cm tall size, has announced its latest product, "Saber," from TYPE-MOON's classic work "Fate/stay night." This product will be pre-sold at the "Nendoroid JAPAN TOUR Osaka" event held on November 29, 2025, while pre-orders will open on December 05, 2025, at the Good Smile Company online store and other official designated retailers.
Saber is the Heroic Spirit summoned by protagonist Shirou Emiya to participate in the Fifth Holy Grail War in "Fate/stay night." She has an honest and serious personality, and an incredibly large appetite; if Saber isn't fed, it can even lead to a direct GAME OVER. Saber's true name is Artoria Pendragon, the legendary hero King Arthur from British folklore, and she possesses the powerful Noble Phantasm "Excalibur," based on the Sword in the Lake.
"Nendoroid Large Saber" is based on previously released Nendoroid versions, enlarging the cute, low-proportioned chibi Saber to an impressive height of approximately 20 cm. Although the accessories are limited to just one sword and no interchangeable expressions are included, both the ahoge on her head and "Excalibur" have become significantly larger. The detailed sculpting of her entire outfit and armor is also more pronounced, and it features rich color applications, including metallic paints, to recreate the metallic texture of her silver armor and sword blade.
