Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's toy brand BANPRESTO, which excels at showcasing character figures and various prize items, will release the first installment of the series, "Sakata Ginpachi," based on the TV anime "Gintama: Class 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei," in October 2025!
"Gintama: Class 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei," a spin-off novel of "Gintama" co-written by Hideaki Sorachi and Tomohito Osaki, combines characters from "Gintama" with a school comedy setting. It tells the parody stories that unfold in Class 3-Z at Gintama High School, led by homeroom teacher Ginpachi Sakata. This peculiar class is filled with students of strong personalities, including idol otaku, stalkers, mayonnaise fanatics, sadists...
The first "Gintama: Class 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei" BANPRESTO prize figure, "Sakata Ginpachi," faithfully recreates Ginpachi-sensei's appearance, capturing his languid squatting pose in a 13 cm size. His signature silver-white hair is paired with his characteristic dead-fish eyes, and while the glasses are made of transparent material, they do not obscure his utterly world-weary gaze. His white lab coat, pink shirt, and ultra-casual slippers perfectly embody Ginpachi-sensei's worldview! Additionally, the students are also scheduled to make their appearances sequentially starting from November.
