Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced the latest prize figure from the "Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku" collaboration project, the "Char's Zaku Plushie Costume [Hatsune Miku Ver.] Character Figure", which is set to be released in March 2026.
The "Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku" collaboration project, announced in October 2024, has seen a continuous release of numerous model toys and merchandise collaborating the Gundam IP with Hatsune Miku throughout 2025. It will also expand its collaboration with Bandai Namco's "Taiko no Tatsujin" and "Gundam EXVS. Series." Furthermore, the official theme song "Idol Fighter (feat. Hatsune Miku)," a collaboration with Japanese music producer Mitchie M, has surpassed 2.84 million views since its release in March. The song not only remixes classic theme songs from various "Gundam" generations and incorporates numerous Gundam references, but its music video also features Hatsune Miku illustrations created by multiple artists, blending her with famous mobile suits from the "Gundam" series.
This prize figure brings the adorable "Char's Zaku Plushie Costume Hatsune Miku" from the music video to life as a non-articulated figure, standing approximately 15 cm tall. It meticulously recreates the plushie suit, modeled after "Char's Custom Zaku II," featuring details such as the head antenna, power pipes, and stitching throughout the body. Combined with Hatsune Miku's characteristic massive twin-tails and the leek in her hand, it captures a charming leek-spinning pose.
