S.H.Figuarts "Super Mario Play Set"
▼ OK~ Let's get right to it! After all, we have five products to play with today! Seeing them all laid out is just so incredibly pleasing to the eye!
▼ Unboxing!
▼ A look at all the contents of the "S.H.Figuarts Mario (SUPER MARIO)" set. It's worth noting that this new 2026 version of the characters will come with a display base featuring their corresponding logo.
▼ The Mario figure itself recreates his classic red and blue outfit and the "M" logo on his cap. That big, round nose really has a strong presence.
▼ Using the articulated stand and base, you can create dynamic jumping poses.
▼ Next up is Mario's brother, Luigi! Let's take a look at all the contents~
▼ Unlike his brother, Luigi comes with a Red Koopa Shell. To have him hold the shell securely, you'll need to use the transparent connector pieces. Different parts are used depending on the direction he's holding the shell, so collectors should pay close attention.
▼ Here's how it looks from underneath~
▼ A height comparison between the brothers!
▼ Next up is the super popular companion, Yoshi! The extended tongue part is just so eye-catching (lol).
▼ Those round, stubby legs are so cute.
▼ Dynamic poses that require standing on one leg, like "throwing an egg," are no problem at all for Yoshi—his balance is super easy to achieve!
▼ The interchangeable lower jaw part is installed from here.
▼ By swapping out the shell part, you can have Mario sit on his back~ This is so much fun~!
▼ And now for the big boss, King Bowser!
▼ The sheer heft of him in your hand is incredibly satisfying, but the spikes on his back are also genuinely sharp (obviously).
▼ Whoa, what an intimidating presence!
▼ Let's swap in the fire-breathing lower jaw part~
▼ Finally, we have the "Super Mario Play Set" to take the fun to the next level! The super-cute Goomba only appears in this accessory pack, so it's a must-buy~
▼ Let's check out the height of all the characters!
▼ Next up is the part I've been looking forward to the most—mix-and-match playtime! Let's combine all the characters and the accessory pack to create the most classic adventure scenes from our imagination.
▼ Using the rectangular transparent pieces from the accessory pack, you can neatly line up the Question Blocks and the regular breakable bricks. You can get a better sense of how they're placed from this angle.
▼ "Pipes" are also a super common element in the levels~ and so are the cute Goombas!
▼ Get ready to take out all the Goombas with the Koopa Shell!
▼ You can also use the stand to create a dynamic pose of Luigi popping out of a pipe!
▼ With Yoshi, you can easily jump to high places~
▼ Bowser's here, run for it~
And that's a wrap for our unboxing report on the entire "Super Mario" lineup from the S.H.Figuarts series, releasing in 2026. If any of you collectors have missed out on any of these characters, or are just about to start your collection, I sincerely recommend these to any "Super Mario" fan—they are seriously so much fun to play with!
