The Danish LEGO toy company recently announced its new themed Gift with Purchase (GWP) set: Restaurants of the World, and the second installment, "40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico," has arrived! It will be available for free with purchases of US$180 or more on the LEGO official website from April 10-19, 2026. Release details for Taiwan have not yet been announced.
This "Restaurants of the World" series GWP, similar to the previous "Houses of the World" and "Shops" series, features four charming buildings built to the same specifications, making LEGO fans want to collect the entire set even in the realm of free gifts. This "Restaurants of the World: Mexico" is the second product, following "Restaurants of the World: Japan." It contains a total of 326 pieces, and the assembled taco restaurant model stands approximately 14 cm tall.
From the large taco decoration on the roof, the taco preparation station in the kitchen, and the cacti, to the colorful outdoor seating, a strong South American vibe can be felt. The editor personally also likes the lighting fixtures installed on both sides of the eaves and the cobblestone pieces laid on the ground. The minifigure is a chef wearing an apron and green gloves, equipped with a long knife.
