To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of "Kamen Rider Ghost," Bandai Spirits' adult-oriented Kamen Rider belt series, "COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION," has officially announced its latest product, the "GHOST Driver," slated for release in September 2026.
In the series, protagonist Takeru Tenkuji was killed by a ghost-type monster, a "Ganma," on his 18th birthday. In the afterlife, he met a hermit who granted him mysterious powers, allowing him to return to the human world as a ghost. Using the "GHOST Driver" and "Eyecons," he transforms into Kamen Rider Ghost to battle the Ganma. He must collect 15 Eyecons, each sealing a heroic spirit, within 99 days to be fully resurrected. During battles, Kamen Rider Ghost can also load different heroic spirit Eyecons into the GHOST Driver to transform into forms with the abilities of historical figures, such as "Musashi Damashii" and "Edison Damashii."
The "CSM GHOST Driver" is a redesign based on the previously released DX toy version. While its size and most part shapes remain the same, the driver body features a full-color paint application to recreate the show's weighty feel, including a pearl finish on the front transparent parts and silver paint on the internal detailed structures. The side grips have also been updated with new part divisions to conceal screw holes. Furthermore, the included "ORE," "SPECTER," and "KANON SPECTER" Eyecons will have their internal rotating parts changed to black, enhancing realism.
After powering on the belt, users can select transformation modes for three characters: Takeru Tenkuji's GHOST, Makoto Fukami's SPECTER, and Kanon Fukami's KANON SPECTER. In addition to playing corresponding character dialogue, the transformation standby sounds will also change depending on the mode. With newly added buttons on the driver for BGM, sound effects, and dialogue, users can play a rich array of special move sounds from the show, exclusive background music for each Rider and character, as well as dialogue from multiple characters including Takeru Tenkuji (portrayed by Shun Nishime), Makoto Fukami (portrayed by Ryosuke Yamamoto), Kanon Fukami (portrayed by Mio Kudo), Yurusen (voiced by Aoi Yuki), and the heroic spirits (voiced by Tomokazu Seki)!
Furthermore, Bandai has also announced the confirmed commercialization of the "CSM 15 Heroic Ghost Eyecon Set," designed to be used with this driver. Its design and size will be identical to the DX toy version, but the exterior colors will be revamped and upgraded, and the internal rotating parts will also be changed to black.
