Renowned American toy manufacturer Hasbro's brand Marvel Legends is releasing a new product based on the classic X-Men animated series sequel, X-Men '97 – the "Cyclops 1:1 Scale Visor." The suggested retail price is yet to be announced, and it is expected to be released in Summer 2026!
Cyclops, whose real name is Scott Summers, is the leader of the X-Men. He possesses a gentle, rational, and far-sighted personality, along with the superpower to emit powerful optic blasts from his eyes. However, he cannot freely control them; they continuously fire as long as his eyes are open and only stop when his eyes are closed. Therefore, he must rely on special eyewear for control.
This Marvel Legends item faithfully recreates Cyclops's Ruby Quartz Visor from the show in a 1:1 scale. The exquisite sculpting and paintwork accurately reproduce the iconic yellow casing and the texture of the ruby quartz. The internal structure of the visor is also delicately replicated! The visor requires 2 user-supplied 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. Once the switch is turned on, the lenses will light up. It can be worn with spring-supported ear hooks and replaceable nose pads, allowing toy enthusiasts to experience what it's like to be an X-Men! Additionally, a display stand is included for perfect presentation when not being worn!
