The "Large Monster Series" of finished models, produced by Japan's PLEX Company and distributed by X-PLUS Company, featuring heroes and monsters from Japanese tokusatsu works, has unveiled a new product themed after "Ultraman Gaia" – the "Super C.O.V.V." (超コッヴ) pre-painted finished figure. The suggested retail price is 27,500 JPY, with an estimated release in August 2026!
C.O.V.V., who appeared in the first episode, is a monster residing in the M91 galaxy, belonging to the same species as the Space Thunder Beast Batzs, and was the first enemy XIG ever faced. In episode 44, "The Great Invasion of Space Monsters," C.O.V.V. returns in its Super C.O.V.V. form, having absorbed wormhole energy, evolving and enhancing its power. Its body is even larger than previous members of its species, and the destructive power of the golden energy blasts fired from its head has significantly increased. A single tail attack was enough to render Gaia completely defenseless!
This Super C.O.V.V. pre-painted finished figure is three-dimensionalized in the impressive 30 cm large size characteristic of the Large Monster Series. It faithfully recreates Super C.O.V.V.'s weighty golden body, with sculpting that restores the rough texture of its skin and its muscular physique. Transparent parts are used in multiple areas across its body, creating a unique biological feel as a cosmic monster through composite materials, perfectly reproducing the powerful presence of C.O.V.V.'s enhanced return in the show!
