Roland x "FINAL FANTASY XIV" Gaming Audio Mixer Features the "Duty Ready" Chime and F.A.T.E. Sound Effects

The MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is approaching its 12th anniversary. While the original version of FINAL FANTASY XIV was poorly received, its relaunch as A Realm Reborn won over players and continues to attract a dedicated audience today.

A new collaboration with electronic instrument and music equipment manufacturer Roland will bring the BRIDGE CAST FINAL FANTASY XIV Edition gaming audio mixer to market. Preorders open October 31, followed by its official release on December 12.

Based on Roland's BRIDGE CAST gaming audio mixer, this model is an official FFXIV collaboration edition.

For its visual design, Toshiyuki Itahana, the character designer behind FINAL FANTASY IX and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon, created brand-new illustrations of Alpha and Omega exclusively for the product. The custom top panel also incorporates the game's iconic Meteor emblem, while the packaging features a special collaboration-exclusive design.

On the audio side, the mixer comes loaded with the familiar “Duty Ready” chime that players hear when a queue pops, as well as the official sound effect triggered when entering a F.A.T.E. (Full Active Time Event).

It also comes in a specially designed presentation box for collectors.

The product retains the BRIDGE CAST's core feature set, including:

- Dual audio bus mixing: Lets users separately configure the audio heard by livestream viewers and the audio heard through their own monitor mix.

- High-performance microphone preamp: Supports XLR microphones commonly used in broadcast-grade setups.

- Voice transformation: Users can adjust pitch and formant settings to create a variety of vocal effects.

The BRIDGE CAST FINAL FANTASY XIV Edition will be available beginning December 12 through the SQUARE ENIX e-STORE, Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, Sofmap, and e-commerce platforms operated by the Bic Camera Group in Japan.

The mixer will also be on display at the Roland booth during FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL 2026 in TOKYO, scheduled for October 31 through November 1 at Makuhari Messe, giving fans a chance to see the collaboration model up close. For further details, visit the official website.
