The classic arcade shooter is back! PLUM, a brand under renowned Japanese model developer "PM office A," is set to re-release its previously launched model kit of the protagonist fighter jet from the classic shooting game "Raiden," the "FT-00004A Azuma!" It is scheduled for release in November 2021.
For veteran arcade gamers, "Raiden" is an iconic title, a popular game where countless coins were dropped to hone skills. Developed by SEIBU in 1990, this vertical-scrolling shooter allowed for two-player simultaneous gameplay. Its diverse arsenal and challenging difficulty captivated many players. It was ported to numerous platforms and spawned multiple sequels, with the latest being "Raiden V: Director's Cut."
The PLUM FT-00004A Azuma is one of the protagonist fighter jets featured in "Raiden V." Its delta-wing design bears a resemblance to real-world Mirage fighter jets. The model is 1/100 scale, measuring approximately 18 cm in length. Each pre-colored part is meticulously detailed, and it comes with decals to further enhance the fighter's intricate features. A dedicated display stand is also included. Additionally, this product is available in two versions: a 1P red color and a 2P blue color, both priced identically.
