The former idol working at an aquarium! Japanese toy company Good Smile Company is set to release a Nendoroid figure of Fūka Miyazawa, one of the main heroines from the anime series "The Aquatope on White Sand," joining their popular Nendoroid lineup in June 2022!
"The Aquatope on White Sand" (Japanese: 白い砂のアクアトープ), an original TV anime produced by Japan's P.A.WORKS (also known as PA Works), began airing on July 8, 2021. This series is rich with summer and ocean elements, set in an aquarium in Okinawa. It features incredibly detailed and beautiful animation, combined with gentle music, offering viewers a deeply soothing experience.
Fūka Miyazawa is one of the main protagonists of the series. Originally an idol in Tokyo, she ended her career for personal reasons. Feeling lost and without direction, she serendipitously traveled to Okinawa. Drawn in by the charm and magical sights of the Gama Gama Aquarium, she asked the acting director, Kukuru, for a job. Upon learning the aquarium was in crisis, Fūka decided to help Kukuru with all her might.
This Nendoroid of Fūka Miyazawa is primarily based on her appearance after she starts working at the Gama Gama Aquarium, dressed in her uniform. She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a cheerful smiling face, a standard gentle smile, and a troubled expression. Her rich array of accessories includes Choko, the lead penguin, a bucket and hand parts for feeding fish (holding fish), and a special aquarium signboard.
