Japanese toy company Kotobukiya recently announced a new addition to their ARTFX pre-painted statue line: a 1/6 scale PVC statue of Batman from DC Comics' "Batman: Last Knight on Earth"! This impressive piece is scheduled for release in May 2022.
Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this statue draws inspiration from the iconic cover of the first issue of "Batman: Last Knight on Earth." It masterfully recreates Batman's grim silhouette as he traverses a desolate wasteland, notably carrying a container with the Joker's disembodied head. The Dark Knight strides forward with a determined, unsmiling expression, his powerful musculature realistically sculpted beneath his form-fitting battle suit. Expert shadow painting enhances the figure's depth, while the dynamic flow of his cape adds a sense of motion. In stark contrast to Batman's stoic demeanor, the Joker's head, still maniacally laughing, stands out as a striking and macabre detail.
