After American toy manufacturer MEZCO TOYZ released the "Red Pyramid Thing" under its action figure brand "ONE:12 COLLECTIVE," based on the horror video game "Silent Hill 2," the terrifying "Red Pyramid Thing" has once again appeared in their 1/6 scale statue series "STATIC SIX"! It is expected to ship from June to August 2023.
Red Pyramid (also known as Red Pyramid Head) is an enemy monster character that appeared in "Silent Hill 2," the second game in the Silent Hill series, and also made an appearance in the series and its adapted film "Silent Hill: Revelation." Designed by Masahiro Ito, its most distinctive feature is the triangular, cone-shaped metal helmet covering its face, making it impossible to see. Wielding a massive great knife and emitting painful groans, it exudes an intense sense of oppression! Coupled with its relentless pursuit of players, it is undoubtedly one of the most feared characters in the gaming world.
This piece stands approximately 30 cm tall and is crafted from mixed media, depicting the "Red Pyramid Thing" holding its great knife, standing in a slightly forward-leaning pose on the rooftop of Brookhaven Hospital. It realistically reproduces the metallic texture and weathered feel of its head, its thick yet pale arms, leather work boots, and abundant bloodstains. Another major highlight of this Red Pyramid Thing is its rich array of interchangeable parts; with multiple right arms, a hand holding the great knife, and a hand holding a spear, various terrifying poses can be achieved!
