Following the release of "Cable" in collaboration with artist duo "Kucharek Brothers," Japanese toy company Kotobukiya, under its "FINE ART STATUE SIGNATURE SERIES," today (9th) officially announced the next installment in the series: the 1/6 scale pre-painted statue of "Deadpool" (デッドプール)! Scheduled for release in Q1 2023.
This piece stands approximately 36 cm tall and is made from Cold Cast material. The sculpting was handled by the Kucharek Brothers, who, while capturing Deadpool's dynamic pose with two katanas, meticulously sculpted the robust muscle lines, the texture of the leather armor, and the form-fitting suit across his entire body. Exquisite shadow painting enhances the overall layering, and abundant details like bombs, pouches, sheaths, and holsters make it look cooler the more you look at it! Furthermore, it can display various looks using interchangeable right hand parts (holding a gun or hugging a unicorn doll) and a 90s-style head sculpt!
