BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division today announced the latest product from its "HG (High Grade)" plastic model series, based on the robot anime "Round-Vernian Vifam", the "HG 1/144 Vifam Sling Pannier Equipped Type", scheduled for release in December 2022. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
To commemorate the upcoming 40th anniversary of "Round-Vernian Vifam", which aired in 1983, BANDAI SPIRITS is re-releasing the Earth military's main robot, the "FAM-RV-S1 Vifam", with completely new parts and modern technology, commercializing it again after many years. It features excellent part separation, color accuracy, and articulation design. The head visor and full body armor are reproduced using clear green, white, red, and black molded parts, and the abdominal cockpit deployment and rear escape mechanism are also recreated.
The back can be equipped with a flight unit that completely reproduces its colors through part separation, without the need for color-correcting stickers. Both the main engine connection points and the main wings feature articulation, allowing for more dynamic flying poses. Weapon accessories include the main "Beam Gun" and a shield made from the armor of the spaceship Janus, used in the middle of the story. Four types of interchangeable hands (left and right) are also included for various poses.
