The robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam", the "White Base MS Set", slated for release in June 2024.
This product simultaneously includes three new mobile suits developed from the "V Project" mobile suit development plan, deployed on the Earth Federation Forces' space battleship White Base in "Mobile Suit Gundam": the "RX-78-2 Gundam", "RX-77-2 Guncannon", and "RX-75 Guntank". The specifications are essentially the same as previously released standard versions. The overall design is based on the anime settings and features flexible articulated joints, allowing for the recreation of classic battle scenes from the anime using the abundant accessories such as beam rifles, beam sabers, shields, and firing effects.
Unlike the standard versions, these three mobile suits feature original model-specific markings, including warning lines on various parts of the body, as well as the White Base and Earth Federation Forces logos, adding richer detail and realism to the figures. Additionally, the set includes a large display base designed with "V Project" elements, which not only features cool graphics but also allows all three mobile suits to be displayed simultaneously.
