Following the release of numerous products based on "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition" by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY under its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different items, the highly anticipated "Nendoroid Misato Katsuragi" finally makes her debut! The suggested retail price is 6,500 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2024.
Misato Katsuragi (葛城ミサト), one of the important characters appearing in "Neon Genesis Evangelion," serves as the Chief Operations Officer of the Tactical Operations Department at NERV Headquarters. Her duties include commanding and monitoring EVA pilots and leading attack strategies. While professional and capable at work, she reveals her "big sister" side when acting as guardian to Shinji Ikari and Asuka — her room is messy, her sleeping posture is terrible, and she always drinks ice-cold beer after a shower — making her widely beloved both within and outside the series.
The "Nendoroid Misato Katsuragi" stands approximately 10 cm tall. This Q-version figure faithfully recreates Misato's charming purplish-blue curly hair, red cropped jacket, short skirt, cross necklace, and other stylistic details. Her face plates include a confident smiling face, a serious shouting face, and a playful winking face. She comes with accessories such as her pet hot spring penguin Pen-Pen and a handgun, along with interchangeable hand parts for poses like arms crossed or hand on hip, allowing you to enjoy Misato's cool yet adorable sides!
