Roger GO! Kotobukiya "Guilty Gear" Bridget Return of the Killing Machine 1/7 Scale Figure

Japanese toy company KOTOBUKIYA is set to release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of the popular character "Bridget" from the 2D fighting game "Guilty Gear -Strive-" in May 2024! The price will be 38,500 Japanese Yen.

Fans of 2D fighting games are undoubtedly familiar with the "Guilty Gear" series by Arc System Works. Since its first release on the original PlayStation console, the series has garnered a significant fanbase with its unique style, exaggerated combat, fluid combos, and high-quality, animation-like graphics. Over more than two decades, numerous titles have been released, with the latest being "Guilty Gear -Strive-," launched in June 2021.

Bridget, who excels at fighting with a yo-yo, first appeared in "Guilty Gear XX" in 2002. Despite Bridget's incredibly cute appearance, her character background reveals that she was originally a boy, raised as a girl due to certain superstitious family customs. Bridget once tried to defy this fate, but ultimately realized she wanted to continue living as a girl. She appeared as a DLC character in the latest title, "Guilty Gear -Strive-," and openly declared her identity.

This Bridget figure by Kotobukiya not only references her latest design from "Guilty Gear -Strive-" but also captures the pose from her Instant Kill technique, "Return of the Killing Machine" (Japanese: 帰ってきたキルマシーン). You can see Bridget's beloved teddy bear, "Roger," driving a machine that resembles a motorcycle with flaming wheels, ready to charge at the enemy for massive damage. The machine also features "GO!" lettering. Every detail on Bridget's body has been faithfully recreated, including her expression, her yo-yo weapon, the accessories and patterns on her clothing, and the handcuff-like iron rings on her waist. The specially designed base further enhances the overall richness of the figure.
