Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS is set to release a new gashapon charm series this June, based on Disney's classic animation "Monsters, Inc." The new series is tentatively titled "Monsters, Inc. Dangling Connecting Mascot" (モンスターズ・インク ゆらゆらつながるマスコット)! The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with a total of four designs to collect.

This series is designed based on the dangling poses of Mike Wazowski and Sulley (holding Boo) as they navigate through numerous "door" arrays to escape Randall in the latter part of the "Monsters, Inc." movie. Not only are the characters' features and their perilous, last-minute expressions meticulously sculpted within the 4.9-6.2 cm size, but you can also connect the characters together into a long chain using the lobster clasps. Hanging them on your backpack will make it look as if they are engaged in a thrilling chase in the real world, which is incredibly fun! There are four designs in total: Sulley, Mike Wazowski, the chameleon-like Randall Boggs, and "Boo's Door" which connects to Boo's room. I absolutely love how lively Mike Wazowski looks; he's just too cute!
