BANDAI SPIRITS' popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) series, where every draw wins a prize, today (4th) unveiled the latest product from Japanese manga artist Yura Urushibara's "Togen Anki": "Ichiban Kuji Togen Anki Ni"! It is scheduled to launch in January 2026.
"Togen Anki," a shonen manga based on the Japanese folk tale "Momotaro," sets the human-oni war in modern Japan. The young protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, is a descendant of oni, but he remains unaware until Satsuki Momoya, a member of the Momotaro faction, arrives at his doorstep. When his adoptive father, Takeshi Ichinose (Takeshi Momokawara), is gravely wounded protecting him, Shiki's oni bloodline power finally awakens, unleashing a furious battle! He is later taken back to Rasetsu Academy by Mujin Mudano, also an oni, officially entering the centuries-long conflict between the "Oni Organization VS Momotaro Organization."
From the officially released images of "Ichiban Kuji Togen Anki Ni," we can see three-dimensional figures of the protagonist Shiki Ichinose and Rasetsu Academy teacher Mujin Mudano. Both characters are designed with their "Blood Erosion Release" forms, where their oni blood transforms into weapons, including Shiki's massive firearm on his right arm and Mujin Mudano's umbrella. Shiki's oni horns, confident smile, and Mujin's consistently calm gaze are meticulously sculpted. We eagerly await the reveal of subsequent prizes! Hopefully, the "Big Sister" Mizuki Sazanami will be included!
