Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. GASHAPON division has launched a new product based on the classic popular anime "Mirmo de Pon!" – the "Mirmo de Pon! Hanging Mascot Charm" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in the fourth week of November 2025!
"Mirmo de Pon!" tells the story of protagonist Kaede Minami, who, on her way home from school, purchases a magical mug from a magic shop. Following the instructions at the bottom of the mug, she summons Mirmo, a fairy who had hidden inside the mug to escape his fiancée, Rirumu. Subsequently, her classmates also successively bought fairy mugs from that peculiar magic shop, summoning and meeting their own fairy partners, thus embarking on a fantastical daily life with magical fairies.
This "Mirmo de Pon! Hanging Mascot Charm" series transforms the fairies' dynamic poses from the show – flying or jumping while waving their fans – into character models approximately 3 cm tall. It features four characters: Mirmo, Rirumu, Murumo, and Papi. The charms come in two versions: ball chain and lobster clasp, totaling 8 different styles. Despite their compact size, these gashapon faithfully reproduce the characters' design details. Furthermore, the hooks on the mascots' chests and heads allow all charms to be linked together, creating an adorable display when hung side-by-side on a backpack.
