The action figure brand S.H.Figuarts, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has officially announced its latest product from the "My Hero Academia" series: "S.H.Figuarts OVERLAY DEKU (Izuku Midoriya)", with a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY, scheduled for release in June 2026!
The protagonist of "My Hero Academia", Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed "Deku", was initially somewhat timid and prone to crying, and even a rare "Quirkless" individual in society. However, due to his deep admiration for the No. 1 Hero "All Might" and his immense longing to become a Pro Hero, he believed he had to put in several times more effort than others and was willing to sacrifice himself to help others. These qualities earned him All Might's recognition, and he inherited the torch of "ONE FOR ALL".
The "S.H.Figuarts OVERLAY DEKU (Izuku Midoriya)" action figure, based on the final season's anime setting, perfectly recreates Deku's overwhelming form in his fully awakened state! Standing approximately 14 cm tall, it captures his wild, beast-like appearance, with his entire body enveloped in Blackwhip. While maintaining aesthetic appeal, it achieves maximum poseability! It includes a Blackwhip effect set, and its articulated joints allow for a wide range of dynamic poses. Additionally, it comes with interchangeable face parts depicting anger, shouting, and gritting teeth, along with multiple hand gestures, allowing fans to recreate the final showdown scenes with the previously released "Tomura Shigaraki"!
