The "MS MECHANICAL BUST" series, a Gashapon toy line based on "Mobile Suit Gundam" released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON brand, has announced its latest ninth installment, "Destiny Gundam Spec II," slated for release in April 2026.
The ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II, piloted by Shin Asuka, is a new mobile suit secretly recovered by the Eternal after the previous great war, severely damaged, and then repaired and improved by Morgenroete with the latest technology. In addition to being refitted with a cutting-edge all-around cockpit and replacing the joint armor material, its power system has also been significantly improved. The substantial increase in energy also resulted in a deeper color for its VPS armor.
This product features three types available for collection: "Destiny Gundam Spec II Outer Armor (Color Ver.)," "Destiny Gundam Spec II Outer Armor (Clear Ver.)," and "Internal Frame (LED Light Unit Included)." Continuing the series' characteristic, regardless of which color outer armor parts are collected, they can be combined with the frame parts to assemble a bust model approximately 9.5 cm tall. Constructed with precise part separation and a sharp, cool design, all parts including the cameras, sensors, antennas, chin, and various armor components are pre-colored. When the LED light unit built into the frame is activated, the transparent parts of the head and chest will illuminate.
