The popular die-cast action figure series, 『METAL BUILD』, from BANDAI SPIRITS' collectors division, TAMASHII NATIONS, showcased the latest prototypes for several new releases from its brand-new 'EX PROJECT' sub-line at last week's 'TAMASHII NATION 2025' exhibition.

・METAL BUILD "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla" Type-3 Kiryu
The overall design reinterprets the original mechanical aesthetic with significant adjustments to the frame structure, physical proportions, and other design elements. This gives Type-3 Kiryu massive dorsal fins, a more robust tail, and armor contours on its limbs that evoke organic musculature, all differing from the original. Furthermore, biological skeletal features are expressed in numerous areas, including the teeth, claws, talons, and the tip of the tail, alluding to the lore that Type-3 Kiryu was constructed using the bones of the original Godzilla.

・METAL BUILD "Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku" Hatsune Miku
Possessing a cool and stylish aesthetic that diverges from her official default image, this figure fuses original mechanical designs from the METAL BUILD series into her slender, humanoid form. She also wears costume parts made from sewn fabric. Her signature twin-tails, extending from both sides of her head, are presented with unique materials and patterns, building high anticipation for the unique backstory of this particular Hatsune Miku.

・METAL BUILD "Knight's & Magic" Ikaruga
The design is based on its appearance in the anime, utilizing a die-cast frame, gorgeous metallic paintwork, and printed markings to reproduce the intricate details of the mecha. An original, cloak-like armor design has also been added to both shoulders. The articulated mechanism of the four sub-arms, the "Sword-Arms," mounted on its back has been thoroughly recreated, allowing it to replicate its awesome appearance while wielding multiple "Gun-Swords."

・METAL BUILD "Saint Seiya" Sagittarius Seiya
Based on the original design and not the *Saint Seiya Omega* version, the dazzling Sagittarius Cloth is rendered with two types of gold plating to create a brilliant luster. The massive wings on its back feature an elegant silhouette and an articulated mechanism. Select joint parts in the body are made from die-cast metal.

・METAL BUILD "Digimon" Omegamon
The overall design stays true to the original source material, faithfully recreating its long, slender body, wide feet, and the sleek, smooth armor that covers its entire form. Intricate details such as the crest on its chest, the folds on its black arms, and the lines of its abdominal muscles are meticulously reproduced. Its two arms, the "Grey Sword" and the "Garuru Cannon," are impressively sized and feature a heavy, metallic paint finish, promising a powerful and dynamic appearance when the blade is extended and the cannon is deployed.
