Released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the original model kit series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS", known for its quick assembly, ease of customization, and mass-produced machine appeal, has announced its latest product, "30MM 1/144 bEXM-40 Novalv [Green]", scheduled for release in June 2026.
The new machine, bEXM-40 Novalv, designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, is the Byron Army's new main mass-produced machine in the story's background, taking over from "Portanova" as the flagship unit for the Byron Army in the 30MM series. This machine was developed from Portanova's special forces armor and close-combat armor, specializing in functionality and expandability.
The "30MM 1/144 bEXM-40 Novalv [Green]" is designed with an entry-level specification that model kit beginners can easily handle. It features a gate design that allows parts to be removed by hand without the need for nippers, while also simplifying the composition of parts and connection points, enabling faster and easier assembly. Once completed, the Novalv boasts a cool body proportion and silhouette, high-density armor surface details, and is composed of molded parts in colors such as grass green, dark green, and clear yellow.
The armaments mounted on both arms are a cannon and claw integrated with a shield, which also serve as the "Sentry" support mechanism, a characteristic feature of the 30MM series. When separated, they have a cute, stag beetle-like appearance. Furthermore, the machine body is equipped with numerous common standard 3mm connection holes and axes, allowing for free customization of the unit with 30MM series weapon accessories, creating unique specifications.
