World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled a new product based on Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith – the "212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper" 1/6th scale collectible figure. It will be released in both regular and deluxe editions, with an estimated price of US$225 and US$270 respectively, and is expected to ship from Q4 2026 to Q1 2027!
The 212th Attack Battalion, part of the 7th Sky Corps, was a division jointly led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Cody, gaining renown for its participation in numerous crucial battles. Following the execution of Order 66, the troopers immediately mutinied, with the 212th Attack Battalion taking control of Utapau, arresting local leaders, and suppressing the populace.
This 212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It adopts the design from the Battle of Utapau in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, featuring a Phase II Clone Trooper helmet. The intricate sculpting faithfully recreates the structural lines of the clone trooper armor, and superb weathering techniques are used to depict the scratched texture of the 212th Attack Battalion's orange and yellow markings after intense combat!
Accessories include seven interchangeable hands, a utility pouch, a commlink, and weapons such as the DC-15A blaster rifle, DC-15S blaster carbine, and a thermal detonator that can be magnetically attached to the backplate. The deluxe version further adds heavy weaponry – the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and a backpack-mounted mortar, significantly upgrading its firepower! Additionally, a specially designed interchangeable helmet with a detachable tactical binocular attachment will be included, enhancing the sense of reconnaissance. This figure can be displayed alongside the previously released "Clone Commander Cody" and "Clone Airborne Trooper" figures on a sand-themed display base to recreate the powerful presence of the 212th Attack Battalion on the battlefields of Utapau!
