POSE+METAL『Gurren Lagann Dai-Gurren』55cm Impressive Size Precisely Recreates Articulation, Armaments, and Battleship Interior!

The alloy action figure series 『POSE+METAL』, developed by the Hong Kong toy brand POSE+ team, has officially announced its latest product, 「Dai-Gurren」, from the anime Gurren Lagann, slated for release in September 2026.

Dai-Gurren is the mobile fortress exclusively used by the "Gurren Brigade," which they acquired and heavily modified from the battleship "Dai-Gunzan" after defeating one of the Spiral King's Four Generals, "Cytomander the Furious." It houses the various mechs used by the Gurren Brigade. Originally a land-based unit, the ship gained the ability to swim underwater and fly in the air after extensive modifications and the addition of stolen flight components.

The 「POSE+METAL Dai-Gurren」 is crafted in an impressive size, measuring 55 cm in length and approximately 33 cm in height, meticulously recreating the unique integrated design of a robot and battleship. Key joints in the main body are made of alloy, ensuring high strength and a flexible range of motion for its limbs. Its multi-axis arm joints allow for dynamic poses, including the iconic "Who the hell do you think we are?!" pointing-to-the-sky gesture, while the movable hip joints and third bridge design enable natural sitting poses. The included dedicated display stand ensures stability when posing the ship's bow, and the legs feature ratchet joints for freely adjusting kicking angles. Furthermore, the three types of turrets located throughout the battleship can rotate in all directions.

Beyond its exterior design, this Dai-Gurren even features meticulously crafted internal details such as the maintenance bay and hangar, which can be fully revealed through the deployable side armor. Accessories include a total of 10 mini "Ganmen" figures, including Gurren Lagann, which can be fully stored in the hangar. Coupled with the "Ganmen-exclusive lift" in the maintenance bay, sortie scenes can be recreated. The engine room features the "Flight Core," the central component for its flight capabilities.

The face on the bridge section can be swapped with four different expression parts, and its two eyebrows feature movable mechanisms for even more vivid facial changes. The bow section can be detached independently to recreate the weapon "Dai-Gurren Anchor," and when paired with the mini "Gurren Lagann" figure equipped with Gurren Wing, aerial combat scenes can be reproduced. Smoke effects can be attached to the stern's chimney to convey a sense of full-speed propulsion. Furthermore, the ship's body features a detachable design, allowing for the recreation of the "Emergency Evasion Mode" where only the robot's skeletal lower half remains!
