The popular action figure series 『S.H.Figuarts』, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, has announced its latest product from the galactic adventure RPG game "Honkai: Star Rail", "Sam Spring Missive", slated for release in November 2026.
Sam of the "Stellaron Hunters" is a mysterious warrior clad in heavy mechanical armor, capable of unleashing scorching flames from his armor to ignite the battlefield and launch fiery assaults. However, hidden beneath the cool armor is a beautiful girl named "Firefly". She was originally a warrior created by the Glamoth Empire to combat the Swarm. Due to genetic modification, she suffers from "Entropy Loss Syndrome," which causes her to grow rapidly but also makes her life as fleeting as a firefly. The armor Firefly uses, the "Firefly IV Strategic Assault Armor," is not only a weapon but also a medical capsule that sustains her life. In search of the meaning of life, she joined the "Stellaron Hunters" organization founded by Elio, constantly pursuing ways to defy fate.
"S.H.Figuarts Sam Spring Missive" is a modified version based on the regular release from 2025. It features a brand-new color scheme inspired by Firefly's newly introduced outfit, "Spring Missive." The white-toned armor incorporates rich painting techniques such as metallic, clear, and gradient colors. Additionally, new design markings have been added to various parts of the body, expressing a soft, spring-like green hue.
The overall sculpt and proportions faithfully reproduce the in-game appearance as much as possible, with the assistance of the miHoYo creative team. The intricate sculpting captures the layered armor and mechanical details. The main body not only allows for heroic and cool poses thanks to its flexible articulation, but by replacing certain armor parts and attaching effect pieces, it can also recreate the "Complete Combustion" state that Firefly enters after unleashing her Ultimate in the game. Gradient-painted clear effects are used to depict the magnificent green flames and twin swords.
