Under the prize figure brand BANPRESTO of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, the "MAXIMATIC" figure series, characterized by its overwhelming sense of volume and high satisfaction, has unveiled two new merchandise items themed after the popular anime "My Hero Academia"— "Izuku Midoriya THE BEGINNING" and "Katsuki Bakugo THE BEGINNING". This article will continue to show toy collectors the Katsuki Bakugo THE BEGINNING, scheduled for release as a prize figure in September 2026!
Katsuki Bakugo's Quirk is "Explosion". He has a bad temper, bullied Midoriya since childhood, and even gave him the derogatory nickname "Deku". Yet, like Midoriya, he dreams of becoming a hero like All Might. His powerful Quirk forged his unyielding personality. After Midoriya gradually surpassed him, he experienced remarkable mental growth, allowing him to become a powerful hero who can keep pace with Midoriya!
This Katsuki Bakugo THE BEGINNING figure stands approximately 21 cm tall. It is also sculpted based on the scene after Bakugo's revival in anime episodes 161 "The End of an Era, and the Beginning" and 162 "The Great Demon Lord!!". It recreates his slightly disheveled, hunched posture immediately after waking up. The sculpting meticulously reproduces the damage and wrinkles on his Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight costume after intense battle. Details such as the scar on his chest and scratches on his kneepads are delicately recreated. Combined with his expression, as if in a state of flow, looking towards Izuku, it perfectly recreates the iconic scene from the series. It definitely needs to be displayed alongside the Midoriya figure!
