Square Enix is diving back into one of their most beloved RPGs, "Xenogears"—a title often compared to "Final Fantasy VII" in its heyday—with a new 6-inch action figure! The legendary mech, Weltall Id, is joining the Bring Arts line, with a scheduled release in April 2022.
Originally proposed by Tetsuya Takahashi to Square (before its merger with Enix) in 1995, "Xenogears" was initially envisioned as a sequel to "Final Fantasy." It ultimately evolved into a standalone title, captivating players with its grand narrative and unique human-and-mech combat system.
The Weltall Id (ヴェルトール イド) is the formidable mech piloted by the character Id (イド) in the game. Instantly recognizable by its striking red body, it represents Weltall's true form and is famously known as the "Devil of Elru" (エルルの悪魔). Boasting incredibly high performance and devastating destructive power, it's a force to be reckoned with.
