Japan's renowned statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio, under their "Museum Masterline" series, yesterday (30th) announced their latest collaboration with acclaimed Korean collectibles brand Blitzway: the "Bloodsport" 1/3 scale full body statue (Bonus Version) from DC's critically acclaimed film "The Suicide Squad"! Shipping is estimated for July – October 2023.
Standing approximately 71.4 cm (28.1 inches) tall, this piece meticulously recreates Bloodsport's (Robert DuBois) high-tech battle suit as seen in the film. The varying shades of blue fabric, strategically placed orange armor and gear, and the iron-gray abdominal plating are all faithfully reproduced. The entire suit features realistic weathering and battle damage, with a detachable chest piece. The head sculpt is an exceptional likeness of actor Idris Elba, capturing his features and the character's on-screen presence. An additional helmeted interchangeable head sculpt is also included, adding an intimidating, battle-ready look.
Beyond the impressive dual head sculpts, this Bloodsport statue also comes with a wealth of interchangeable hand parts and custom-designed weaponry, allowing for a wide range of display options! Plus, purchases made through the official Prime 1 Studio store will receive a bonus "Mini Starro."
