SQUARE ENIX's BRING ARTS 6-inch action figure series recently announced its latest product from FINAL FANTASY VII, "Cloud Strife," scheduled for release in November 2023.

The protagonist, "Cloud Strife," is a young man with spiky blonde hair resembling a Chocobo and blue eyes. His attire and weapon, the "Buster Sword," are mementos from his dear friend. Cloud's demeanor is aloof, showing indifference to his surroundings, often uttering phrases like "Not interested." However, in reality, he is simply not good at socializing and still possesses a strong sense of responsibility internally. At the beginning of the story, Cloud claims to have been a 1st Class SOLDIER of the Shinra elite unit, and is now a mercenary hired by the anti-Shinra organization "AVALANCHE" to participate in the Mako Reactor bombing operation.

The "BRING ARTS Cloud Strife" is based on the image of Cloud drawn by designer Tetsuya Nomura for the 1997 PlayStation release. It recreates the charming design from that era, which had not yet leaned towards a realistic style, in a 6-inch action figure format, allowing fans to relive the excitement of playing FF7 for the first time. All joints throughout the body feature flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses with various interchangeable hand parts or his iconic, weighty "Buster Sword."
