To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the highly popular 80s animated series "Masters of the Universe," renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has finally officially unveiled full details for the latest addition to their "Masters of the Universe" 1/6 scale product line: the "Battle Cat" articulated figure! Pre-orders will open on October 25, 2022, at 12 P.M. (CT) on the MONDO official website, with an estimated shipping window of Spring to Summer 2023.
October 25, 2022 Update:
The 1/6 scale "Battle Cat" figure is likely MONDO's largest collectible item to date, measuring an impressive 18 inches (45.7 cm) in length. Beyond its massive size, the detailing is absolutely stunning! This piece faithfully recreates Battle Cat's green fur and yellow stripes, with intricate gradients, sharp claws, and fangs conveying a rich sense of realism. The red-brown armor equipped on its body is detachable, featuring a heavy metallic paint finish and exquisite sculpted details. With four interchangeable head sculpts—including unhelmeted and fully armored states—the figure offers immense playability, allowing fans to recreate Battle Cat fiercely battling alongside He-Man or simply lounging adorably.
Furthermore, this Battle Cat also comes with a sculpted figure of Cringer, its form before transformation, creating a striking size contrast with Battle Cat. This is undoubtedly a dream item for "Masters of the Universe" fans.
