Japan's SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd. has announced the latest product from their 6-inch articulated figure series "BRING ARTS", "Torgal," based on their RPG masterpiece "FINAL FANTASY XVI," with an expected release in April 2024.
The highly popular canine character Torgal from "FINAL FANTASY XVI" was originally a wolf from a northern tribe near the hometown of the heroine, Jill. As a pup, he was separated from his pack and adopted by the Rosfield family, growing up alongside Clive, Joshua, and Jill. However, after the tragedy at Phoenix Gate, he became separated from everyone. It was only 13 years later that he finally reunited with Clive and Jill. By this time, Torgal had grown into a magnificent wolf, possessing intelligence and combat abilities far beyond those of ordinary wolves, making him Clive's reliable companion.
The "BRING ARTS Torgal" figure, with an overall length of approximately 18.5 cm, recreates Torgal's adult form as an articulated figure. The thick fur covering his entire body is meticulously sculpted to show the flow of his coat, conveying a fluffy texture. The gray-white gradient of his fur and his cool, sharp gaze are faithfully reproduced through paintwork. Articulated joints are incorporated in his neck, waist, tail, and all four limbs, allowing for dynamic poses such as standing, jumping, and sitting. Furthermore, by swapping out head parts, you can recreate his pose with an open mouth, ready to bite!
